When used with your PC a gamer can even get current 2007 schedules, create their own team uniforms, make new logo's for a given team and so much more! This can also be done with your PS2 and Xbox 360 but takes a little tinkering. These "Mods" include all 2007 team roster updates with accurate statistics and also include any trades that may have occured over the off-season. But through hard work and dedication many gamers created what has become known as "Mods" and "Updated Player/Team Rosters." These can be up /downloaded to your PC or copied onto your existing PS2 (in my case) Memory Card. This left those of us in a lerch who so eagerly awaited MVP Baseball 2006. All second and third parties were prohibited from using logo's, player names, stadiums, etc. Here is why shortly after EA Sports wrapped up an exclusive deal with the National Football League for the rights to all NFL properties to be included solely in their game, MADDEN FOOTBALL, 2K Sports did the same w/ Baseball. Unfortunately for those of us who fell in love with this title that love affair would end abruptly. MVP Baseball 2005 for the PS2 gaming console is by most recognized as the "best Baseball game sim" ever released for any game console. MVP Baseball 2005 (PS2) 2007 Updated Rosters Connected PS2 gamers can create or join MVP Baseball 2005 multiplayer games over the Internet, through EA Sports Online service. For gamers who like to run their clubs from the front office, the game's new Ownership Mode is intended to let players truly take charge of their MLB organizations, adding business-sim aspects to the game that call on virtual team owners to design, develop, and manage their own ballparks.
Not all changes aid the offense, however, as adjustments have also been made to the speed and artificial intelligence of fielders, allowing them to react more quickly and perform more accurately as a team. The MVP Baseball 2005 pitching meter may be a bit more forgiving than the previous year's version, but its smaller green zone makes it more challenging to throw a spot-on "perfect pitch." At the plate, batters can now move around in the box, and the new "Hitter's Eye" option is designed to mimic an experienced sluggers' split-second intuitions by causing a pitched ball to briefly flash with a color that hints at its spin and trajectory - white for a fastball, red for a curve, and so on.
